Previously called Police Surgeons FMEs are doctors that work in the field of Forensic Medicine. Our client is a NHS Trust that requires an FME from Mid January 2012 onwards. There is an option of shifts: days, nights or on call service. The pay is £50/hour, Monday to Sunday. As a FME you will be expected to manage cases within a broad range of Forensic Medicine. You will typically be supported by a team of nurses/multidisciplinary team. Experience (UK or overseas) in Medicine, General Practice or Trauma is advantageous. We would be interested to hear from you for any of the above shifts whether it be a few sessions or block work. You will need full GMC and UK residency for at least 3 years.
